First-year students took courses online at International Christian University (ICU)
In the spring semester of 2022, five first-year students and one third-year student took courses online at International Christian University (ICU). As in the previous year, the courses were taken online in consideration of the situation of the spread of the new coronavirus.
In early July, a debriefing session was held among the students, BPGI faculty members, and ICU faculty members, at which the students gave presentations on what they had learned. There was a lot of conversation between the students and faculty members, making the debriefing an interactive event.
*In the spring semester of their first year, BPGI students take the courses at ICU. The University of Tsukuba has started a “Campus-with-Campus” scheme with ICU with the aim to facilitate transborder education and research by sharing campus functions. As part of this scheme, BPGI also utilizes the abundant resources of liberal arts education at ICU for the development of the students.
